Banjara Skirt

The namesake Banjara pays homage to the style of the nomadic tribes people hailing from Rajasthan. The Sanskrit translation of Banjara is Vana Chara (wanderers in jungle). Beautifully cut with 16 panels and a drawstring waist. Thoughtful contrasting bias cut red block printed trim adorns the hemline. Inspired by geometric prints from the artist Bridget Riley and hand block printed in a pigment ink method this skirt is sure to attract admirers.
